"Big Cup Phu Phat Phong Curry Buldak Bokkeummyeon" Introduced After Success in China

Samyang Foods announced on April 23 that it is launching a new product under its Buldak brand, the "Big Cup Phu Phat Phong Curry Buldak Bokkeummyeon."

The Phu Phat Phong Curry Buldak Bokkeummyeon, created by combining the popular Thai dish Phu Phat Phong Curry with Buldak, is the first new product Samyang Foods is introducing in Korea in about two years. This product was previously released as a limited edition in China in October of last year, where it quickly sold out due to strong demand, gaining significant popularity. Samyang Foods decided to launch it domestically, reflecting the recent trend of increasing preference for Thai cuisine in Korea.

The Phu Phat Phong Curry Buldak Bokkeummyeon features the signature umami flavor of Buldak Bokkeummyeon, harmoniously blended with the smooth and savory taste of coconut milk and the aroma of crab meat, resulting in an exotic and spicy flavor profile. Without draining the water, the noodles can be cooked in the microwave for three minutes, allowing the chewy noodles to mix with the creamy curry, offering a rich curry taste that lingers in the mouth, all in a convenient way. The spiciness level of the Phu Phat Phong Curry Buldak Bokkeummyeon is similar to that of Carbo Buldak Bokkeummyeon, making it mildly spicy and enjoyable even for beginners.
