Asiana Airlines will increase flights to New York, Hawaii, and Bangkok ahead of the summer peak season.
Starting April 30, Asiana Airlines will add a new night flight on the Incheon-New York route, operating two flights daily. In addition to the existing daytime flight departing Incheon International Airport at 9:40 a.m., a new night flight will depart at 9:05 p.m. Furthermore, beginning May 30, the airline will deploy the A380 aircraft, which has a total of 495 seats, on the night flight to further expand capacity.
From June, Asiana Airlines will also increase flights on major tourist routes such as Hawaii and Bangkok.
The Incheon-Honolulu route, which currently operates five times a week, will be upgraded to daily service starting June 1. The Incheon-Bangkok route, which already operates daily, will add a morning departure flight (OZ743/744) three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) starting June 2, increasing the total to ten flights per week. Notably, the flight arrives in Bangkok at 10:55 a.m. local time, allowing travelers to make the most of their trip.
To commemorate the increased service to New York, Asiana Airlines will offer additional fare discount coupons. Passengers who purchase tickets from Incheon to New York by April 30 will be eligible. Business class passengers can also use the coupon when purchasing A380 Business Suite seats. The boarding period is until September 30.
To celebrate the increased service to Hawaii, passengers who purchase tickets from Incheon to Honolulu by May 8 will receive a 5% discount coupon. The boarding period is until June 30. In addition, a coupon book for the 'International Market Place,' a popular shopping destination in Hawaii, will be provided.
Additionally, through the 'Magic Boarding Pass' program, passengers can receive partnership benefits by presenting their Asiana Airlines boarding pass, including discounts at various partners such as Broadway musicals in New York, Top of the Rock observatory, and golf and activity venues in Hawaii.
An Asiana Airlines representative stated, "We have proactively decided to increase flights on routes with high passenger demand to prepare for the summer peak season," adding, "By increasing flights on popular routes, we aim to provide a wider range of schedules and further enhance passenger convenience."
