Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, Attends Opening Ceremony of the 45th Disability Day Commemorative Exhibition "Spring Path of Paintings"

On April 22, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, attended the opening ceremony of the 45th Disability Day commemorative exhibition, "Spring Path of Paintings," held at the Gyeongchun Line Forest Trail Gallery inside Hwarangdae Railroad Park, and celebrated the opening of the exhibition.

This special exhibition was organized to commemorate Disability Day. A total of 103 artists affiliated with the Korea Association of Disabled Artists are participating, presenting 103 works across various genres including Western painting, Korean painting, crafts, and calligraphy. The exhibition will run for nine days in total, until April 27.

The opening ceremony was attended by about 100 people, including Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District; Bang Gui-hee, Chairperson of the Korea Disability Arts and Culture Center; and Shin Dong-il, Executive Representative of the Federation of Korean Disability Arts and Culture Organizations. The event proceeded in the following order: opening declaration, congratulatory remarks, commemorative photo session, and a celebratory performance by the Bitdenso-ri Global Arts Association.

Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, said, "Congratulations on the opening of the exhibition," and added, "I hope this will be a warm occasion for communication and mutual understanding through art."
