Booyoung Group Holds First-Half Safety and Health Workshop, Leading the Way to Zero Accidents

Strengthening Communication Between Headquarters and Field Sites
Case-Based Training in Practice

Booyoung Group held a first-half workshop to strengthen on-site safety management.

On April 22 and 24, Booyoung Group announced that it would invite safety and health managers from sites across the country to its headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, to hold the '2025 First Half Safety and Health Manager Workshop' and advance its safety management practices. The workshop was organized to enhance communication between headquarters and field sites, as well as to share various accident prevention cases and improve practical capabilities.

The event was planned based on the Booyoung Safety and Health Management System Manual (Chapter 8: 'Communication and Information Provision'). Through presentations from each site, a variety of topics were covered, including: examples of emergency response training operations, analysis of accident cases and prevention strategies in pile driving construction, measures to activate pre-work safety meetings (TBM), and safety management in excavation work. During the Q&A session, participants reviewed the on-site response system and discussed practical improvement measures.

A Booyoung representative stated, "We prepared this workshop to allow direct communication between the field and headquarters and to share various cases for accident prevention," adding, "We will ensure that workers can operate in a safer environment."

For this year’s safety and health policy, Booyoung has set forth the goal: "Now, starting with myself, comply with laws and regulations to establish a safety-first culture." In addition, the company is pursuing three main objectives: the introduction of a smart safety and health management system, achieving zero (0) serious industrial accidents, and creating a worker-centered work environment.

Alongside these efforts, Booyoung Group has been accelerating the establishment of a safety culture by setting annual safety and health policies and conducting regular training for all employees after receiving certification for its safety and health management system (KOSHA-MS) from the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency.
