Korean Standards Association to Participate as 'KSA-OSAKA Korean Delegation' at Osaka·Kansai Expo

The Korean Standards Association announced on April 22 that it will participate in the 2025 Osaka·Kansai Expo, which will be held at Yumeshima in Osaka, Japan until October 13, as the 'KSA-OSAKA Korean Delegation.' The delegation plans to visit the site twice, in June and September, to directly experience global innovation trends and visions for the future society.

This expo is expected to serve as a platform for sharing technologies and cultures for a sustainable future, under the theme of 'Designing Future Society for Our Lives,' with participation from over 160 countries and 9 international organizations. At the center of the venue, the world's largest wooden structure, the 'Grand Ring,' designed by Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto, has been installed and is drawing significant attention.

The association plans to use its participation in the expo as an opportunity to expand the global network of domestic companies and institutions, and to gain insights into the future society. President Moon Dongmin stated, "Through this expo, I hope we will be able to experience the visions and strategies for a sustainable future from various countries, and, based on this, our industry and public institutions will be able to secure insights to proactively respond to global changes."
