NH Investment & Securities Retirement Pension Robo-Advisor Achieves 20% Cumulative Average Return

NH Investment & Securities is drawing attention for its high returns ahead of the launch of its retirement pension robo-advisor (RA) discretionary service, which is scheduled for release this month.

On April 22, NH Investment & Securities announced that it recorded a cumulative average return in the 20% range on the Koscom RA Testbed (retirement pension algorithm).

NH Investment & Securities is simultaneously operating as both an RA investment manager and a service provider, raising market expectations. As of April 21, the cumulative average return of its algorithms stood at 20.28%. In particular, the cumulative average return of the top 10 algorithms reached 29.65%, the highest level among competitors. As of the same date, the company possessed a total of 36 retirement pension algorithms, ranking second among RA investment managers in terms of quantity.

NH Investment & Securities attributed its high returns to prioritizing the enhancement of retirement pension returns and receiving extensive consultation and advice from multiple RA partners. The algorithm with the highest return was developed through a collaborative consortium with Data & Analytics, with both companies focusing on maximizing returns as their top priority in developing RA algorithm strategies. Rather than focusing on the formula itself, they sought to identify and optimize the variables that have the greatest impact on results, pursuing a differentiated strategy of "variable-centric algorithm design" to maximize returns.

Lee Jaekyung, Executive Vice President and Head of Retail Business at NH Investment & Securities, stated, "To enhance the returns for our retirement pension clients, we will offer opportunities to invest in products that match customer demand, selected from a variety of high-performing algorithm strategies tested in the testbed." He added, "We will expand our RA services beyond retirement pensions to a wider range of product categories."

NH Investment & Securities' retirement pension RA discretionary service will be launched within this month. It will be available for purchase through the NH Investment & Securities mobile trading app (MTS), and 16 out of the 36 retirement pension algorithm strategies will be disclosed.
