Gwangju Bank announced on April 22 that it had conducted the "Share Love Through Blood Donation" campaign to practice warm sharing with the local community.
This campaign was held on a blood donation bus set up in front of the Gwangju Bank headquarters, and was open to participation by any member of the public. Not only Gwangju Bank employees but also staff from partner companies located in the headquarters building joined in, adding warmth to the event.
At the site, in addition to participating in blood donation, there was a procession of participants who donated the equivalent value of commemorative gifts through "blood donation donation certificates" and voluntarily contributed their blood donation certificates.
Since 2018, Gwangju Bank has continued to hold annual blood donation campaigns, and has been steadily promoting these efforts throughout the year as part of its social contribution activities, aiming to stabilize the blood supply in the local community and to spread a culture of sharing life.
Ko Byungil, CEO of Gwangju Bank, said, "This blood donation campaign is a precious act of sharing that saves lives and is a warm practice carried out together with local residents," adding, "Gwangju Bank will continue to pursue a variety of social contribution activities that provide practical help to the local community in the future."
