Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association (Chairman: Song Pilho) announced on April 22 that the Korean Dietetic Association (President: Jinseon Song) donated 14.7 million won to support recovery efforts for wildfire damage and to assist victims in the Ulsan, North Gyeongsang, and South Gyeongsang regions.

This donation was raised through a nationwide solidarity fundraising campaign organized by the Korean Dietetic Association to help residents and students affected by the wildfires. From April 1 to April 4, members of the association?including dietitians and nutrition teachers?voluntarily participated in the effort.

Affiliated organizations under the association, including the National Industrial Dietitians Society, National Hospital Dietitians Society, National Nutrition Teachers Society, National Health and Welfare Facilities Dietitians Society, National School Dietitians Society, Health Counseling Dietitians Society, and the National Child and Social Welfare Meal Service Management Center Dietitians Society, also joined in solidarity and contributed to the cause.

Jinseon Song, President of the Korean Dietetic Association, said, "I would like to thank all members of the Korean Dietetic Association who participated in this fundraising effort to share love with neighbors struggling due to wildfire damage. I hope that the heartfelt donations will bring comfort and help to those affected." She added, "We wish to continue collaborating with Hope Bridge in the future to provide nutrition education and sharing activities for disaster-vulnerable groups."

Since the outbreak of the wildfires, Hope Bridge has provided emergency support with more than 450,000 relief items and has been actively engaged in practical, on-site recovery activities such as laundry services in temporary shelters, medical support, and meal support for field firefighters.
