'Employment Survey' Targeting 44,000 Households in Honam and Jeju

Honam Regional Statistics Office to Announce
Key Employment Indicators by City, County, and District in August

The Honam Regional Statistics Office will conduct the "2025 First Half Regional Employment Survey" from April 22 to May 7, targeting 44,000 households in the Honam and Jeju regions.

This survey will serve as basic data for establishing regional employment policies, such as employment rates and unemployment rates. Its purpose is to identify key employment indicators at the city, county, and district levels, as well as the characteristics of employed persons by industry and occupation, and the employment status of married women.

Households selected for the survey can participate online using the participation number provided in the advance notice. In-person interviews will also be conducted in parallel from April 22 to May 7.

The survey results will be released sequentially. Key employment indicators by city, county, and district will be announced in August, characteristics by industry and occupation in October, and the employment status of married women in November.

Commissioner Jung Kuhyun stated, "The information collected will never be used for any purpose other than compiling statistics, in accordance with the Statistics Act," and requested "accurate responses and active participation from sample households."
