Paul Bassett Partners with Famous Seongsu Bakery to Open 'Paul and Mild' Store

Collaboration Store with Premium Bread Brand Mild

On April 22, it was announced that Paul Bassett, a specialty coffee shop operated by MZ Seed, an affiliate of Maeil Dairies, has reopened its Gwanghwamun location as 'Paul and Mild (Paul & meal°)' in partnership with the premium bread brand Mild.

The store is divided into three sections: the Paul Bassett coffee bar, the Sangha ice cream bar, and the Mild bakery, with each menu offering enhanced selections. Notably, Mild bakes bread fresh in-store daily and offers special menu items available exclusively at the Gwanghwamun branch. At the Sangha ice cream bar, a variety of ice cream flavors are always available, with four popular flavors offered year-round and the selection changing each season. In addition, customers can enjoy dessert cups and ice cream with toppings.

A representative from Paul Bassett stated, "Although the bakery cafe market has been expanding recently, consumers have expressed disappointment that it is difficult to find a place where the coffee, bread, and ice cream are all satisfying. For this reason, the two brands, both recognized for their quality in their respective fields, collaborated to meet these consumer needs at the new Paul and Mild store."

MZ Seed plans to expand stores with enhanced bakery and ice cream menus, starting with the Gwanghwamun Paul and Mild location. Another Maeil Dairies subsidiary, MZ Bakers, acquired Mild in April of last year.
