Logistics Automation Platform "ORCA"
Hyundai Glovis announced that its logistics automation solutions subsidiary, Altiol, will unveil its next-generation logistics automation platform, ORCA, at the '2025 International Logistics Industry Exhibition' held at KINTEX in Goyang City starting April 22.
ORCA, co-developed by Altiol and Hyundai Glovis, is designed to radically simplify the complex logistics control processes, enabling anyone to easily configure control settings. The platform allows for intuitive layout configuration of logistics centers and provides features for assigning cargo attributes and setting routes, making the implementation of automation control significantly easier.
Additionally, it is equipped with adapter-based equipment integration functions to control devices from various manufacturers. Its ability to integrate with upper-level systems enables comprehensive monitoring and optimization of the entire workflow.
At this exhibition, Altiol will also showcase its Croff Platform AMR System, which provides integrated control for multi-type Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), as well as its high-density storage solution, the 6-Way Shuttle Storage System.
In 2023, Hyundai Glovis acquired a 70% stake in Altiol, establishing a strategic partnership and working to strengthen its capabilities in global smart logistics solutions by internalizing logistics automation technologies.
An Altiol representative stated, "This exhibition is an opportunity to experience our flagship technologies that have realized the vision of radically simplifying logistics control," and added, "Based on the technological expertise and operational know-how accumulated through collaboration with Hyundai Glovis, we will continue to introduce customized logistics automation solutions for our clients."
