Dobong District (Mayor Oh Eonseok) will hold a Children's Day festival on May 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., along Madel-ro in front of Dobong District Office.

On this day, the approximately 340-meter stretch from Dobong District Office to Raemian Apartment in Banghak 1-dong will be filled with activities designed to stimulate all five senses of children.

The festival venue will be divided into several sections: the main stage, experience booths, Dobong Land, an infant and toddler zone, rest areas, and food booths.

The event will officially begin at 10:40 a.m. with a "Character Parade with the Marching Band." Popular character mascots beloved by children will enliven the parade, and families, each with their own unique style, will also participate in the march.

Starting at 11:20 a.m. on the main stage, there will be performances by the Dobong District Children's Choir, a Taekwondo demonstration, the character musical "Dodani and the Magic Pouch," and "Fantasy: The Wizard of Oz." At 3:20 p.m., singer Kyungseo is scheduled to perform.

On the sub-stage and in other areas, there will be a traditional fairy tale puppet show "The Ungrateful Tiger," a magic show "A Journey into the World of Magic with Magician Dodo," and a safety education puppet show "Here Comes! The Bbanggu Car!"

More than 30 experience booths will offer a wide variety of programs, including retro games (Jegichagi, Gongginori, Ttakjichigi, and more), an accessory designer job experience, woodworking, making companion moss terrariums, and trying on traditional costumes.

This year, special programs include "Random Play Dance Time," in which the whole family can participate, and the "Breaking One-Day Class" by the Dobong District Office's breaking team. The Breaking One-Day Class will accept some participants on-site.

Dobong Land, which is highly popular with children every year, will be even more exciting this year. Attractions such as a swing ride, mini train, space shuttle, carousel, super Viking, and three age-specific air bouncers will be available.

In addition, there will be food booths featuring traditional market snacks and food trucks for the whole family to enjoy.

Oh Eonseok, Mayor of Dobong District, stated, "I hope every child will be happy and have fun on May 3. We will pay special attention to safety measures, including deploying a sufficient number of safety personnel, to ensure the event proceeds safely."

For the Children's Day event, traffic will be restricted along the approximately 340-meter section of Madel-ro in front of Dobong District Office (from Dobong District Office to Raemian Apartment in Banghak 1-dong) from 6:00 p.m. on May 2 until 8:00 p.m. on May 3.
