Jaegyeong Gimcheon Alumni Association Donates 20 Million Won in Hometown Love Donations for Third Consecutive Year

Continuous Donations from Hometown Alumni for the Development of Gimcheon City

On April 21, the Jaegyeong Gimcheon Alumni Association visited their hometown and donated 20 million won in hometown love donations to Gimcheon City, according to an announcement on April 22.

The Jaegyeong Gimcheon Alumni Association has been making hometown love donations to Gimcheon City for three consecutive years.

This donation reflects the deep interest and affection of the association members for the development of Gimcheon City, and its significance is further heightened as it marks the third consecutive year of such contributions.

Approximately 10 members of the Jaegyeong Gimcheon Alumni Association attended the event. President Bae Museop, Women’s President Baek Insook, Advisor Shin Gyeongho, and Vice President Min Gyeongjun each donated 5 million won, bringing the total donation to 20 million won, which was delivered to Gimcheon City.

President Bae Museop stated, "I am happy to be able to express my affection for my hometown by witnessing the continued development of Gimcheon," and added, "Together with the association members, we will continue to make hometown love donations and strengthen our cooperation with Gimcheon City."

Gimcheon Mayor Bae Nakho expressed his gratitude, saying, "I deeply appreciate the Jaegyeong Gimcheon Alumni Association for participating in the hometown love donation program every year and supporting Gimcheon City from afar. The donations will be carefully used for meaningful projects that can respond to the diverse voices of our citizens."

Meanwhile, in December of last year, Gimcheon City signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Jaegyeong Gimcheon Alumni Association to promote the development of Gimcheon City and to vitalize the hometown love donation program. Based on this agreement, both parties plan to further strengthen their cooperative relationship in the future.
