Rapid and Accurate Cadastral Survey Results
Sancheong County in Gyeongsangnam-do announced on April 22 that it had won the Grand Prize in the cadastral surveying category at the 2025 Gyeongsangnam-do Spatial Information and Drone Championship.
The competition, held on April 17 at the Hwajeong Complex Cultural Center in Uiryeong County, brought together about 200 participants, including public officials from 18 local governments in the province, as well as firefighters, police officers, students, and technicians specializing in drones.

The championship featured four categories: cadastral surveying, drone surveying, drone piloting, and drone search. Representing Sancheong County in the cadastral surveying category were officials Lee Sanggil, Lee Junghyun, and Lee Soyoung (all at Facility Level 8).
They earned the Grand Prize by conducting rapid on-site surveys and delivering highly accurate cadastral survey results.
Meanwhile, Sancheong County has demonstrated its outstanding practical skills in cadastral surveying by winning awards for three consecutive years, including first place at the national competition organized by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in 2023.
An official from Sancheong County stated, "We will continue to strengthen our surveying expertise and provide ongoing opportunities to improve our work capabilities, doing our utmost to protect residents' property rights by preventing boundary disputes in advance."
