Held Every Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. from April 23 to May 14 at Baekkobmadang in Geumosan Provincial Park
Gumi City in North Gyeongsang Province will hold an outdoor concert for citizens and tourists to celebrate the spring season.
On April 21, the city announced that it will host the "Gumi City Choir Baekkobmadang Stroll Concert" at Baekkobmadang in Geumosan Provincial Park every Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. from April 23 to May 14.
This performance has been organized to provide citizens enjoying spring outings with a cultural break that combines both a stroll and music.
The Gumi City Choir plans to present a variety of songs suited for spring, including popular tracks such as "Travel" by Bolbbalgan4 and "Spring Spring Spring" by Roy Kim, as well as choral pieces that are easy for the audience to sing along to.
Yoo Youngik, Director of the Gumi Culture and Arts Center, said, "I hope that citizens will be able to quench their cultural thirst and enjoy a healing time with their families as they appreciate beautiful choral performances in the warm weather."
Meanwhile, the Gumi City Choir has been leading the development of local culture and arts for over 30 years since its founding in 1989. This year, the choir was selected as the "2024 Choir of the Year," solidifying its reputation as a representative choir recognized for both artistic excellence and popular appeal.
