Supporting Education and Medical Expenses for Out-of-School and Out-of-Home Youth in Blind Spots
The Busan Ulsan Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the National Health Insurance Service held a donation ceremony for the 'Dream Bridge' project on April 18 at Busan City Hall. The event was attended by Cho Junhee, Head of the Busan Ulsan Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters, Lee Junseung, Deputy Mayor for Administrative Affairs of Busan, and directors of related facilities, with the aim of supporting at-risk youth.

The donated fund of 30 million won will be used for the education of out-of-school and out-of-home at-risk youth to help them return to their studies, obtain certifications necessary for employment, and receive medical services.
The National Health Insurance Service began the Dream Bridge project in 2019 by providing medical and meal support to out-of-school youth who had discontinued their studies. Since last year, the scope of support has expanded to include out-of-home youth who have been driven to the streets due to domestic abuse, and the project continues to operate.
Cho Junhee, Head of the Regional Headquarters, stated, "We are proud that the National Health Insurance Service can contribute to helping unprotected children grow into responsible adults," and added, "We will continue to provide tailored support for those in blind spots and take the lead in fulfilling our social responsibility."
