Gwangjin District (Mayor Kim Kyungho) began operations at the Gwangjin District Integrated Office Building (400 Achasan-ro) on April 21, marking a new beginning for the district.

Kim Kyungho, Mayor of Gwangjin District, arrived at the integrated office building at around 8:40 a.m. and officially started his duties with a tea meeting with department heads.

The integrated office building is connected to Exit 3 of Guui Station. As part of the Jayang 1 Redevelopment Promotion District project, it was established as a cutting-edge business complex, housing office facilities, a hotel·officetel, and residential apartments. The 18-story building has a total floor area of 37,685 square meters, providing various amenities for residents such as a book cafe, kids' zone, exhibition space, and parks. The second floor is designed as an integrated civil service office, bringing together frequently used services such as passports, transportation, taxation, real estate, and housing.

The location for administrative services will vary according to the moving schedule. From April 21, services related to architecture, employment, street vendors, disaster·safety, local economy, roads, and water management will be available at the integrated office building. However, for passport, real estate, welfare, taxation, redevelopment·reconstruction, transportation, and park-related services, residents should still visit the existing office building. These services will be available at the integrated office building after April 28.

Kim Kyungho, Mayor of Gwangjin District, said, "It is deeply moving to be the first mayor to enter the new office building. This year marks both the 30th anniversary of the founding of Gwangjin District and the 'first year of Gwangjin's reinvention,' so it is important to lay a solid foundation for Gwangjin's future. At the integrated office building as well, I will continue to communicate with residents to achieve urban development. I ask all residents for your continued interest and participation in district administration."
