Former People Power Party emergency committee chairman Kim Jongin warned that if the People Power Party does not sever its ties with former President Yoon Sukyeol, its very existence as a political party will be at risk in the future. He also criticized the so-called 'Yoon Again new party' rumors, saying, "It seems to have emerged because former President Yoon gave some kind of hint," and added, "It is a comedy for former President Yoon to be talking about a new party."

Appearing on SBS Radio's "Kim Taehyun's Political Show" on the 21st, Kim said, "I want to give honest advice to the People Power Party," and suggested, "If the People Power Party wants to survive and achieve some results in the upcoming presidential election, it must completely cut ties with President Yoon." He continued, "President Yoon Sukyeol, who was suddenly brought in from outside the party, only became a burden and was impeached without providing any help," and pointed out, "A party with many politicians longing for such a person cannot be considered a normal political party."
Specifically, Kim stated, "If the People Power Party wants to achieve any results in the presidential election, it must nominate a candidate with legitimacy and completely break away from the current situation," adding, "Unless the party selects a legitimate candidate who can completely reform the party and transform it into one that gives hope to the people, it will be difficult to achieve any success in the election." In this context, Kim emphasized that the only candidate capable of competing against the Democratic Party is Han Donghoon. He argued that Han Donghoon is a legitimate candidate because he opposed the imposition of martial law and supported impeachment.

Regarding the recent movements for the Yoon Again new party, Kim reiterated, "It is a comedy that President Yoon is now talking about a new party," and pointed out, "It seems that President Yoon Sukyeol probably gave such a hint, which is why the two lawyers (Bae Euichul and Kim Gyeri) tried to start a new party." Kim further criticized former President Yoon, stating, "President Yoon did not fulfill his role as president, and looking at his behavior after the declaration of martial law, it is only natural to question whether such a person was ever fit to be president." He added, "He is trying to exert influence, but it has no effect at all. His perception of the situation is completely wrong," directly targeting former President Yoon.
Additionally, regarding some members of the pro-Yoon faction promoting the "great ambition theory" for acting President and Prime Minister Han Ducksoo, Kim expressed a negative view. He analyzed, "The reason acting President Han is taking such an ambiguous stance is because there are people around him constantly encouraging him." Furthermore, he warned, "Prime Minister Han Ducksoo, as the main figure at the center of the martial law situation, should not even dream of becoming a presidential candidate." However, he also added, "As far as I know, Prime Minister Han is not such an irrational person. I believe he will ultimately not run."
