LG Electronics has launched a new product to strengthen its dominance in the portable screen market, following the success of 'StanbyME'.

On April 20, LG Electronics announced the release of the 'Smart Monitor Swing,' a large-screen, high-resolution display with adjustable height and angle, equipped with convenient touch functionality. After pioneering the portable screen market with 'StanbyME', the company aims to solidify its market leadership with this new product.

The Smart Monitor Swing combines a 'monitor arm' designed for extended work sessions or multitasking with a portable stand. Its all-in-one design allows users to freely adjust the height and angle, enhancing work efficiency. The screen and stand were designed together from the development stage, making installation and disassembly extremely simple.

The wheeled stand makes it easy to move, and the power adapter and cables can be housed inside the stand for a cleaner appearance. It also supports swivel for left-right screen rotation, tilt for up-down adjustment, and pivot for seamless switching between landscape and portrait modes.

The screen measures 32 inches and supports 4K UHD (ultra-high definition) resolution, allowing users to easily control the display via touch. In addition, the monitor is equipped with LG's proprietary webOS smart TV platform, enabling a variety of tasks without connecting to a separate external device such as a PC. Sales will begin on April 24.
