Traffic Restrictions Implemented Around Ansan Culture Plaza
for the Smooth Operation of the Ansan International Street Theater Festival
The city of Ansan in Gyeonggi Province will completely restrict access to the Ansan Culture Plaza access road from 12:00 a.m. on May 2 to 5:00 a.m. on May 6 to ensure the smooth operation of the 21st Ansan International Street Theater Festival.
The Ansan International Street Theater Festival will be held for three days from May 3 to May 5 in the area surrounding Ansan Culture Plaza.
The restricted section is a 1-kilometer stretch of Gwangdeok-daero in both directions, from the Goldenville Intersection to the Lake Town Intersection near Ansan Culture Plaza. During this period, all alleys leading to Ansan Culture Plaza will also be closed.
During the restriction period, all wheeled vehicles?including cars, bicycles, motorcycles, and electric scooters?will be prohibited from entering the designated area. However, city buses passing through Ansan Culture Plaza will be rerouted.
Lee Minguen, Mayor of Ansan, stated, "Traffic restrictions are an unavoidable measure to ensure that everyone can enjoy the festival comfortably and safely," and asked for the cooperation and understanding of all citizens traveling in the Ansan Culture Plaza area.
