This year's tournament will feature 90 teams and approximately 600 Jokgu enthusiasts from across the country, who will compete in five divisions to showcase the skills they have honed over time.

The preliminary rounds will be held in a league format, while the finals will follow a tournament system. Trophies will be awarded to the champion, runner-up, and two teams that share third place.

Jokgu is a recreational sport that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, as it does not require advanced skills or high physical fitness. As a result, the number of club members has been increasing every year. This tournament has also become an important event for promoting communication and camaraderie among enthusiasts.

Shin Hyunguk, mayor of Mungyeong, said, "Jokgu is a great sport for families and friends to enjoy together, and I hope all participants will fully demonstrate the skills they have developed. After the tournament, I encourage everyone to safely visit Mungyeong's beautiful tourist attractions, such as the Yeonggang Pedestrian Bridge, Bongmyeongsan Suspension Bridge, and Mungyeong Saejae."

This tournament is expected to contribute not only to the enjoyment of Jokgu enthusiasts but also to the revitalization of tourism in Mungyeong.
