Daehwa Industrial Donates 100 Million KRW for Uiseong County Wildfire Recovery

A Warm Act of Sharing for Hometown Uiseong

Daehwa Industrial has donated 100 million KRW to support the recovery efforts following the recent large-scale wildfire in Uiseong County.

On April 17, Uiseong County announced that the donation from Daehwa Industrial will be used for wildfire recovery and support for displaced residents through the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea.


Founded in 1978, Daehwa Industrial specializes in the production of various screw components, including bolts and nuts, and plays a significant role in the domestic machinery and industrial equipment sectors.


Song Beomjo, former CEO of Daehwa Industrial, said, "My heart grew heavy when I heard about the wildfire in my hometown of Uiseong. I made this donation in the hope that it would provide at least some help to the residents who suffered great losses from the wildfire."


Kim Jusu, Governor of Uiseong County, expressed his gratitude, saying, "I sincerely thank you for your deep affection for your hometown and your warm act of sharing. We will do our utmost to complete the recovery as soon as possible and help our residents return to their normal lives."


The donation from Daehwa Industrial will be used transparently for wildfire recovery and support for displaced residents in Uiseong County. This meaningful contribution serves as a reminder of the importance of solidarity and sharing within the local community, and is expected to provide significant support to those affected by the disaster.
