Other Regions to See Rain Until the Morning of the Following Day
There is rain in the forecast for various regions across the country this weekend.
Due to the influence of a trough approaching from the west, rain is expected to begin on the morning of Saturday, April 19, starting in the Seoul metropolitan area and the inland and mountainous regions of Gangwon. By the afternoon, the rain is forecast to spread nationwide.

When it rains in the Seoul metropolitan area and the inland and mountainous regions of Gangwon, there may be gusty winds, thunder, and lightning. In addition, as the trough approaches, strong winds with instantaneous speeds of around 55 km/h (15 m/s) are expected along coastal and mountainous areas nationwide from the afternoon of April 19 through the early morning of April 20.
Temperatures over the weekend will remain 2 to 6 degrees higher than the seasonal average.
On April 19, the morning low is expected to range from 11 to 18 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high is expected to range from 16 to 27 degrees Celsius.

From the night of April 18 through the morning of April 19, visibility may fall below 200 meters in some parts of the west and south coasts due to fog, so caution is advised.
In the distant central and southern northern offshore areas of the East Sea, winds will gradually strengthen to 30 to 60 km/h (9 to 16 m/s) from the afternoon of April 19, and waves will rise to heights of 1.5 to 3.5 meters. Caution is advised during navigation or fishing operations.
