The Gwangju Regional Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs (Director Kim Seokki) announced on the 18th that it had hosted a spring outing and cypress forest sensory experience event for national merit recipients (and their bereaved families), in cooperation with the KT Jeonnam-Jeonbuk Regional Headquarters Labor Union.
The event, held at the Jangseong National Forest Center on this day, featured emotional stability programs such as flower tea therapy and cypress forest therapy. The KT Jeonnam-Jeonbuk Regional Headquarters Labor Union provided transportation support vehicles and accompanied the event to assist elderly and disabled national merit recipients (and their bereaved families).
Son Mo, a Korean War veteran and wounded soldier who participated in the event, said, "I am grateful to Director Kim Seokki of the Gwangju Regional Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs and the staff for giving me the opportunity to enjoy nature away from the city for the first time in a while."
Kim Seokki, Director of the Gwangju Regional Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, stated, "We will continue to do our utmost to realize 'living patriots and veterans affairs in everyday life, patriots and veterans affairs for all,' where the local community respects and honors national merit recipients together."
