The police have reassigned the team in charge of investigating the case involving YouTuber Jjuyang.
The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced on April 18 that it has reassigned four cases related to YouTuber Jjuyang that had been filed.
Three cases in which Jjuyang's side is the complainant were previously handled by the Criminal Division 1 and Investigation Division 2, but have now been transferred to Criminal Division 2. The case in which Jjuyang's side is the accused will be handled by Investigation Division 2.
This decision was made after comprehensively considering concerns about the fairness of the investigation and investigation efficiency raised by Jjuyang's side on April 16.
A police official stated, "We will conduct a fair investigation into the related cases, including the supplementary investigation requirements requested by the prosecution."
