The Visiting Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Disease Prevention Management Camp is a program that, in collaboration with the Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Disease Prevention Management Center at Wonkwang University Hospital, visits workplaces to provide professional examinations and consultations with medical specialists for employees who have difficulty managing their health due to time and location constraints.
The camp included basic tests such as blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol measurements, as well as specialized examinations such as arteriosclerosis testing and atrial fibrillation screening. Based on the test results, participants received health consultations from medical specialists at Wonkwang University Hospital.
One participant in the camp stated, "It was a valuable opportunity to learn about my vascular health indicators and develop an interest in health management through tests and consultations with specialists that are not easily accessible in daily life."
Meanwhile, the county plans to continue actively operating customized cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease prevention and management programs by age group, so that residents can develop healthy lifestyle habits and enjoy a healthy life through prevention-focused management.
