Global resource recycling company DS Dansuk announced on April 18 that it recorded consolidated sales of 242.4 billion KRW and operating profit of 9.1 billion KRW in the first quarter.
Compared to the same period last year, sales increased by 10.93% and operating profit rose by 20.57%. Net profit for the period surged by 194.53% over the same period.
The results reflect 56.5 billion KRW in sales of pre-treatment unit (PTU) products for SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) from the bioenergy division.
A DS Dansuk representative stated, "Despite challenging business conditions last year, we achieved improved results compared to the same period a year ago," adding, "We will continue striving for gradual performance improvement going forward."
