Youth Asset-Building Support
Hongseong County in South Chungcheong Province announced on April 18 that it will be recruiting new applicants for the 2025 Youth Tomorrow Savings Account for 20 days, from May 2 to May 21.
According to the county, the Youth Tomorrow Savings Account is a youth support program designed to help working young people build assets and provide opportunities to promote self-reliance so they can settle stably in society.
Eligible applicants are currently employed young people who meet all age, income, and household income requirements. For those at or below the second-lowest income bracket, applicants must be between 15 and 39 years old, have a household income at or below 50% of the median income, and have a personal monthly income of at least 100,000 won.
For those above the second-lowest income bracket, applicants must be between 19 and 34 years old, have a household income exceeding 50% but not exceeding 100% of the median income, and have a personal monthly income exceeding 500,000 won but not exceeding 2.3 million won.
If a participant at or below the second-lowest income bracket maintains employment and saves 100,000 won per month for three years, a work incentive of 300,000 won will be matched each month. For those above the second-lowest income bracket, if they maintain employment and save 100,000 won per month for three years, a work incentive of 100,000 won will be matched each month.
Youth wishing to enroll can visit their local eup or myeon Administrative Welfare Center for inquiries and applications, or they can apply online through the Bokjiro portal.
