Gochang County in North Jeolla Province announced on the 18th that it will hold the nonverbal magic performance 'SNAP' at the Gochang Culture & Arts Center at 7:30 PM on the 24th.
The nonverbal magic performance 'SNAP' is a comprehensive art show that combines fairy tale-like storytelling and intuitive stage language with mime, shadowgraphy, media art, and physical theater, all uniquely fused with magic.
Transcending language, 'SNAP' received high acclaim, starting with the Asian Arts Award Grand Prize at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in the UK and was officially invited to the CINARS Biennale in Canada, known as the Cannes of the performing arts world.
In addition, the show gained worldwide recognition by selling over 10,500 tickets during a three-week run on Broadway in the United States and being featured in The New York Times.
The ticket price is 10,000 won, with a special discount for Gochang residents at 3,000 won (1,500 won for youth). Ticket reservations open at 9 AM on the 17th. Online reservations are available on the Gochang Culture & Arts Center website, and on-site reservations can be made at the center, except on weekends.
