The Veterans Affairs Office Busan Regional Veterans Affairs Office (Director Namil Lee) Veterans Support Center held a meeting with HR managers from local companies and organizations at the Baek Jaedeok Room on the 15th.
This was the third HR meeting held this year, attended by seven representatives from six companies and organizations, including Silver General Logistics, Busan Namgu Senior Club, and Yangsan Senior Job Creation Support Center. The Veterans Support Center introduced the center and explained support systems for veterans, while each company and organization presented their specialized projects in addition to the Senior Internship Program.
A center official stated, "Many organizations are working hard to support job opportunities for seniors. We hope to maintain a close relationship with the Veterans Center so that we can provide good job information to our veteran members in the future."
The Veterans Support Center, which has been established and is operating in 10 locations nationwide, provides various employment and entrepreneurship support services such as one-on-one career counseling, job information, educational training expenses, and career transition support payments for veterans who have served for five years or more.
