Boryeong City, Chungnam Province, announced on the 18th that it held entrepreneurship education and a startup camp for the '2045 Youth Startup Support Project' on the 16th and 17th. A total of 22 teams participated in this startup camp.
This training program was conducted as a group education course totaling 40 hours over two weeks, starting from May 31. All participants completed the entire process, including the startup camp and benchmarking activities.
Notably, 10 teams consisted of young people from other regions, reflecting high interest in Boryeong City's startup support.
On the first day of the camp, participants benchmarked local startup cases on Gaehang-ro in Incheon. On the following day at Boryeong Mud Theme Park, a panel of expert mentors provided consulting on business plans.
Through mentoring, participants focused on refining their business ideas and assessing marketability.
Mayor Kim Dongil stated, "We support the challenges of young entrepreneurs and will continue to provide practical assistance."
Meanwhile, the city plans to hold a startup competition on the 24th, selecting up to 13 teams and continuing with follow-up support such as commercialization funding.
