Gyeonggi-do Operates Forest Experience Program at Surisan Provincial Park

Gyeonggi Province will operate forest experience programs at Surisan Provincial Park from April to October under the themes "Wisdom Enjoyed in Nature" and "Gunpo Healing Forest, Healthy Forest."


"Wisdom Enjoyed in Nature" is an event that shares wisdom in nature through various activities such as ecological experiences, forest play, fragrance experiences, and singing bowl therapy, and will run until October 31.

"Gunpo Healing Forest, Healthy Forest" is held once a month (May 21, June 25, July 16, August 20, etc.) in cooperation with Sanbon Health Center, targeting preschool children (aged 5 and above) and their parents. The main experience activities are designed for children with allergic diseases such as atopy, asthma, and allergic rhinitis.


Applications for the programs can be made by phone (031-8008-8265) or on-site reservation at the Surisan Provincial Park Exploration Information Center for "Wisdom Enjoyed in Nature," and through the Lifelong Health Office at Sanbon Health Center (031-390-8986) for "Gunpo Healing Forest, Healthy Forest."


A Gyeonggi Province official said, "We expect that participants will feel vitality in nature through this program and that it will help prevent allergic diseases. We hope everyone embarks on a healthy and happy journey in the forest."
