Vice Minister Jang will personally experience the representative tourist resources of the Ganghwa area and seek ways to revitalize domestic tourism.

First, Vice Minister Jang will visit Jeondeungsa Temple, a historic temple founded in 381 by Goguryeo's King Sosurim. Following a guided tour by a professional interpreter, she will explore the Daeungbojeon Hall, Beomjonggak Bell Pavilion, and Yaksa-jeon Hall to learn about Buddhist culture and the historical significance of the temple. She will then move to Jukrim Dawon Tea Garden to experience the tea culture of Ganghwa, which blends nature and tradition, while enjoying traditional tea and Korean sweets.

Vice Minister Jang will then visit Geumpung Brewery, a representative brewery in the Ganghwa area. With a history of 100 years, Geumpung Brewery produces traditional liquors using local agricultural products, contributing to the regional economy. Through the 'Brewery Tour,' Vice Minister Jang will observe the traditional processes of Makgeolli production, including rice washing, steaming, nuruk (fermentation starter) mixing, and fermentation, and will brew Makgeolli herself before tasting it.

She will also visit the Cooperative Cheongpung, selected in the '2024 Korea Tourism Star' regional growth promotion content category. Cooperative Cheongpung is a complex cultural space created by local residents, offering various programs where travelers can experience rest and healing in Ganghwa's unique pristine nature. Vice Minister Jang will relax her mind and body through the 'Jamsi Island' program, which includes yoga practice and meditation.

Additionally, Vice Minister Jang will listen to various voices from the field and discuss ways to revitalize domestic tourism with stakeholders.

Vice Minister Jang stated, "To recover the domestic market, which has been weakened due to recent domestic and international economic uncertainties and social atmosphere, it is important to start traveling lightly from nearby areas and find vitality in daily life." She added, "The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will continue to discover various tourism contents in cooperation with regions and improve the environment for regional tourism so that citizens can naturally travel in their daily lives." She also mentioned, "We plan to visit the field to support the recovery of the tourism industry in regions such as Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk, which were damaged by recent wildfires," and added, "We will also provide support to gradually restore tourism demand in the affected areas."
