On-site Auction for Repaired Rental Agricultural Machinery
Gwangyang City to Sell Obsolete Equipment to Local Farmers
Gwangyang City, Jeollanam-do announced on the 17th that it plans to hold an on-site auction for obsolete agricultural machinery at the Agricultural Machinery Rental Business Center on the 30th.
The city will repair and auction off to local farmers certain rental agricultural machines that have exceeded their service life or have become outdated.
The bidding announcement period is from the 18th to the 29th, and the notice will be posted on the Gwangyang City website. The machines up for auction include: ▲ Branch Shredders (4 units) ▲ Multipurpose Transport Vehicles (2 units) ▲ Riding Cultivators and Rotavators (5 units), totaling 9 types and 25 units.
Eligibility to participate in the auction is limited to farmers registered as agricultural business entities who have resided in Gwangyang City from at least one year prior to the announcement date up to the present.
Required documents for participation include the Agricultural Business Entity Registration Certificate, a copy of the resident registration, and an ID card. Proxy bidding is not allowed, and each participant may bid on only one unit.
The first round of the auction will be held on the 30th, and any unsold machines will be put up for a second auction on the 21st of the following month.
Meanwhile, last year, the Gwangyang City Agricultural Machinery Rental Business Center also received a positive response after auctioning off 11 units of three types, including riding cultivators and walking cultivators, to local farmers.
