Wando Disabled Persons Association Signs 'Good Consumption Campaign' Agreement

Donations Planned from Kimchi Sales and Other Profits

The Wando Disabled Persons Association recently announced on the 17th that it has signed a 'Good Consumption Campaign' business agreement with the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea at the association's meeting room.

This agreement is part of efforts to spread a culture of sharing within the local community, and stipulates that a portion of the profits from kimchi products sold by the Wando Disabled Persons Association will be donated to the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea.

The donations will be used to support not only people with disabilities but also low-income families, multicultural households, and marginalized neighbors. Under the agreement, a total of eight types of kimchi, including 'Good Love Companion Baechu Kimchi,' will be produced using the OM (Original Manufacturer) method, and discussions were also held regarding the use of the 'Fruit of Love' logo and donation plans.

Established in 1983, the Wando Disabled Persons Association has been striving to improve the welfare and social participation of people with disabilities in the region through various programs such as empathy and healing tours, the Unity Festival for the Disabled, and cultural and sports events for people with severe disabilities.

Chairman Cha Uk stated, "We plan to use part of the sales profits not only for people with disabilities but also for low-income and multicultural families, as well as marginalized groups," and added, "We will continue to do our best to promote the welfare and protect the rights of people with disabilities in the Wando area."
