Kim Moonsoo, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea (representing Naju, Suncheon, Gwangyang, Gokseong, and Gurye-gap), strongly criticized on the 17th, saying, "Na Kyungwon, a presidential candidate from the People Power Party, is spreading fabricated information about Representative Lee Jaemyung."

Kim said, "Following former President Yoon Sukyeol, it seems that Na Kyungwon has also been infected by the far-right YouTube and community virus," and directly attacked, "The People Power Party is now degenerating into a far-right zombie party infected by the far-right virus."

Previously, Na Kyungwon claimed on her social media that Lee Jaemyung, the leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, had identified himself as an 'Ilbe member,' and attacked him by saying, "He described the May 18 Democratization Movement as a riot." Na Kyungwon escalated her offensive against Lee by citing a related video following the "drum barrel meme."

In response, Kim Moonsoo explained, "The video circulated by Na Kyungwon is a maliciously edited clip from Lee Jaemyung's 2017 lecture at Chonnam National University," and added, "At that time, Lee was confessing his ignorance in believing incorrect information as a child and expressed his regret, saying he was deeply ashamed of having said such things."

Kim further argued, "Does it make sense for a Democratic Party politician to stand at the podium of Chonnam National University in Gwangju and claim to be an Ilbe member, calling May 18 a riot?" and rebutted, "Such distortions are nothing but fabricated politics that abandon common sense and conscience."

He also criticized, "The very person who is amplifying and reproducing the drum barrel performance fabricated by far-right YouTubers and communities to conduct fear-mongering is none other than Na Kyungwon herself," adding, "The reality that such a person is even being discussed as a presidential candidate is a tragedy."

Kim Moonsoo sharpened his criticism, saying, "By listing conspiracy theories fabricated by far-right communities and launching political offensives, Na Kyungwon is essentially declaring herself an 'Ilbe loudspeaker,'" and questioned, "Isn't the far-right zombie virus already spreading within the People Power Party that accepts such a person as a presidential candidate?"

Meanwhile, Kim emphasized, "Our vaccine is the sound common sense of the people, and our weapon is the people's correct vote," and stressed, "Let's eradicate far-right fabricated politics with our votes in this presidential election."
