Ulsan Ulju-gun will implement the '2025 Regional Characteristic Safety Village Project' targeting Nammyung Village in Dudong-myeon.
This project is being promoted to continuously raise awareness and interest in safety among local residents. Residents will directly identify safety hazards, diagnose problems, and participate in safety activities to address these issues.
Ulju-gun will invest a total project budget of 40 million KRW (20 million KRW from the city and 20 million KRW from the county) to improve crime safety, traffic safety, and general safety in Nammyung Village, Dudong-myeon.
Crime prevention CCTVs, security lights, sensor lights, and safety signs will be installed, and a Safety Village Council will be operated to provide safety education for residents.
An official from Ulju-gun stated, "As residents directly implement projects tailored to the characteristics of their region, it has proven highly effective in raising safety awareness and receives positive feedback every year," adding, "We will do our utmost to ensure the successful implementation of the project and create a safer village."
