The EV9 Nightfall Edition features exclusive black details of the Nightfall Edition applied throughout the exterior, including the front grille, skid plate, and lower door panels, along with a new color called Roadrider Brown. It also includes a boost function that increases the maximum torque from the previous 61.3 kgf·m to 71.3 kgf·m. The dual-motor-based maximum output delivers outstanding acceleration performance, reaching 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.3 seconds from a standstill.
Notably, it adopts the North American Charging Standard (NACS), allowing access to the Tesla Supercharger network. With an additional adapter provided, it can also use the existing Combined Charging System (CCS) network, offering excellent charging accessibility across the United States. Kia plans to start selling the EV9 Nightfall Edition in the U.S. market from the second quarter and gradually expand its sales markets.
