Collaboration with Noted Leads to Launch of "Banana Kick Cream Donut"
Strengthening Brand Awareness in the U.S., "Melon Kick" to Be Exported
Nongshim's snack Banana Kick has transformed into a donut in the United States.
On the 17th, Nongshim announced that it has launched the signature menu item "Banana Kick Cream Donut" at the first overseas branch of Noted, a dessert cafe located in Westfield, LA, USA, in collaboration with Noted. The donut features cream infused with the soft and sweet taste and aroma of Banana Kick, topped with Banana Kick pieces. Nongshim and Noted also released the "Banana Kick Cream Latte" to further increase local consumer interest in Banana Kick.
Banana Kick has recently gained attention overseas as a snack favored by famous K-pop stars. Nongshim plans to strengthen brand awareness in the U.S. by introducing various collaborative menu items featuring Nongshim snacks with Noted.
A Nongshim official said, "The store, symbolizing the first overseas branch, is generating buzz by using Banana Kick as a signature menu item," adding, "We will promote marketing efforts so that the Kick series, including Banana Kick, can grow into a global snack brand."
Fifty years after the launch of Banana Kick, Nongshim plans to release a new product in the Kick series, "Melon Kick," on the 21st, and expand exports to the U.S., Japan, and China markets.
