First Meeting Held Recently to Discuss Expo Preparations

Gurye County, Jeollanam-do recently held the first meeting of the Expo Promotion Committee for the successful hosting of the '2025 Carbon Neutral Soil Restoration Expo' in the situation room of Gurye County Office.
The Carbon Neutral Soil Restoration Expo Promotion Committee is chaired by Professor Cho Namhun, former professor of Landscape Architecture at Sunchon National University, and is composed of professors in related fields, heads of institutions and organizations, and heads of agricultural associations.
At the meeting, the committee discussed the basic plan and operation of the expo. In particular, they sought ways to present the changes and vision of soil that began in Gurye and to prepare practical alternatives linked to local agriculture.
Kim Soonho, the county governor, said, "I ask for the professional advice and cooperation of the committee members for the successful promotion of the Carbon Neutral Soil Restoration Expo," and added, "I hope the expo will become an event with long-term goals and vision for soil restoration."
Meanwhile, the '2025 Carbon Neutral Soil Restoration Expo' will be held from September 19 to 21 at the Jirisan History and Culture Center in Gurye County. The event will feature a soil restoration theme hall, corporate booths, hands-on experiences, sales, and various other programs to provide a wide range of attractions for visitors.
