The scholarship award ceremony, held in the president's office in the afternoon, was attended by ISFNET Chairman Watanabe Yukiyoshi, Vice President Motomura, Korea branch CEO Heo Ogin, Director of International Cooperation Kim Seongeun, as well as Yeungjin College President Choi Jaeyoung and Head of Computer Information Department Ryu Yonghee.
Headquartered in Tokyo, ISFNET is a global network specialist company operating the largest-scale businesses in cloud, solutions, and IT infrastructure across Japan, and has overseas branches in Korea, China, Singapore, India, and more.
In 2017, ISFNET took note of the outstanding capabilities of Yeungjin College graduates working in Japan, visited Daegu in person, and signed an 'International Customized Education Agreement' with the Computer Information Department.
Through this agreement, the company offered exceptional employment guarantees to students with Japanese language proficiency (JLPT Level 2) and Cisco certification. In response, the college established the 'Japan Network Custom Class' in 2018, launching efforts to cultivate company-tailored talent.
Starting with 17 hires in 2019, a total of 104 graduates, including 12 set to graduate in February 2025, have been employed by the company so far.
During this visit, Chairman Watanabe held a company briefing for second-year students in the Global Network Class (international students) and the agreement class, and a meeting with third-year students who are scheduled to graduate next year.
At the scholarship ceremony, Chairman Watanabe said, "Yeungjin students are working very diligently and competently at our company, and we are very satisfied. In particular, we ask for your continued support in educating Nepali international students who are joining us from this year."
President Choi Jaeyoung responded, "We will do our best to educate our students to become outstanding talents who can grow together with the company. We are deeply grateful for your annual visits and continued scholarship donations."
