International One-Way Fares Starting from 60,000 KRW
Eastar Jet announced on the 16th that it will hold a special promotion called 'Travel Filial Piety (孝)' in celebration of Family Month in May. Customers aged 65 and older can receive an additional 50% discount during this promotion.
The special airfare applies to a total of 28 routes, including domestic flights such as Jeju, as well as international routes to Japan, Northeast Asia, Vietnam, Thailand, and Kazakhstan. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis from 10 a.m. on the 17th until the 22nd through Eastar Jet’s website and mobile application/webpage.
The lowest one-way total price including airport fees and fuel surcharges starts from 60,000 KRW for Japan, 66,500 KRW for Northeast Asia, 88,800 KRW for Vietnam, 95,300 KRW for Thailand, 257,600 KRW for Kazakhstan (Almaty), and 12,700 KRW for domestic routes. Despite the special fares, 15 kg of checked baggage is provided free of charge.
The travel period is from the start of the promotion until June 30, excluding certain peak periods (May 1?6 and June 6?8).
This promotion also offers an exceptional discount benefit for customers aged 65 and older. Those born before 1960 can receive an additional 50% discount on discounted fares for all Eastar Jet international routes. Domestic flights offer a 10% discount on regular fares.
To apply, select 'Senior Discount' when entering passenger information during the booking process on the website. At check-in, passengers must present identification such as a resident registration card that verifies their birth year.
