Yeongju City to Conduct Gyeongsangbuk-do Social Survey

Until the 30th...
To Be Used as Foundational Data for Policy Making

Yeongju City announced on the 16th that it will conduct the '2025 Gyeongsangbuk-do and Yeongju City Social Survey' until April 30. This survey aims to comprehensively understand citizens' living standards and social perceptions, and will be used as foundational data for city administration, including regional development and welfare policies.

The survey period is 15 days, from April 16 to 30, targeting heads of households and household members aged 15 or older in 912 households in Yeongju City, which were selected as samples by Statistics Korea. Surveyors will visit each household in person to conduct interviews and fill out the questionnaire.

The survey consists of a total of 11 sections and 49 questions. Of these, 42 are common items for Gyeongsangbuk-do, and 7 reflect the characteristics of Yeongju City, including improvements to traditional markets and priority areas for city administration.

Personal information collected during the survey will be securely protected in accordance with Article 33 of the Statistics Act (Protection of Confidentiality) and will not be used for purposes other than statistical compilation.

The city plans to review and supplement the survey results by October and post the final results on the Yeongju City Hall website in December.

Kim Handuk, Director of Public Relations and Information, stated, "Accurate foundational data is essential to establish citizen-centered policies," and added, "We kindly ask for your active participation and sincere responses when surveyors visit."
