Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province held a cultural exchange event on the 16th at the city hall's comprehensive situation room, inviting a student delegation from Norton University in Cambodia.

This visit was arranged to foster mutual cultural understanding and build friendly exchange relations between the city and Cambodia. The student delegation watched an introduction video about Pyeongtaek City and discussed cooperation plans between the two regions during a meeting with Mayor Jeong Jang-seon.


Mayor Jeong said, "I hope this visit will not only activate exchanges between the city and Cambodia but also provide students with a valuable opportunity to broaden their international perspectives."


Thirat Touch, First Secretary of the Embassy of Cambodia in Korea, who accompanied the meeting, responded, "I hope that through this visit, Pyeongtaek City and Cambodia will expand cooperation in various fields."


Pyeongtaek City plans to use this visit as an opportunity to expand exchange activities with Cambodia and enhance its status as a global city.
