Gwangmyeong City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 16th that it has selected four additional startup and prospective startup teams to move into the Social Economy Center's Startup Incubation Room.

Accordingly, the total number of companies (teams) residing in the center's Startup Incubation Room has increased to 27, the city explained. On the 14th, the city held an 'Agreement Ceremony for Startup Incubation Room Resident Companies' with the newly admitted companies at the Gwangmyeong Social Economy Center's Learning Room.
Selected resident companies can use individual office spaces, meeting rooms, and training rooms free of charge. They also receive guidance on social economy-related projects and various types of support.
Kim Kyung-hee, head of the Social Economy Division of Gwangmyeong City, said, "We hope that cooperation and exchange among resident companies will bring new vitality to the local social economy," adding, "We will continue to expand practical support so that early-stage startups can establish themselves stably and grow."
Gwangmyeong City is continuously recruiting resident companies for the Startup Incubation Room targeting startups and prospective entrepreneurs. Companies wishing to move in can contact the city's Social Economy Division for inquiries.
