BNK Kyongnam Bank Signs 'Youth Financial Education Win-Win Cooperation Agreement' with Gyeongnam Province

Dispatching Professional Instructors to 13 Cities and Counties from July to September
Providing Financial Education Support to Local Youth

BNK Kyongnam Bank announced on the 16th that it has signed a 'Youth Financial Education Win-Win Cooperation Agreement' with Gyeongsangnam-do Province to support financial education for local youth.

The signing ceremony for the Youth Financial Education Win-Win Cooperation Agreement was held at the Gyeongnam Provincial Government Office and attended by Kim Kyungok, Executive Director of BNK Kyongnam Bank, and Park Myungkyun, Vice Governor for Administrative Affairs of Gyeongsangnam-do Province. During the event, they discussed building a cooperative system and support measures for the youth financial education project in Gyeongnam, the financial education curriculum, and strategies for win-win cooperation with BNK Kyongnam Bank.


According to the agreement, BNK Kyongnam Bank will conduct a demand survey among university students and young adults in cities and counties of Gyeongsangnam-do, and will provide customized youth financial education in the 13 cities and counties that are ultimately selected.


The Gyeongnam cities and counties where financial education will be provided from July to September are Geochang-gun, Namhae-gun, Miryang-si, Sancheong-gun, Yangsan-si, Uiryeong-gun, Jinju-si, Changnyeong-gun, Changwon-si, Tongyeong-si, Hadong-gun, Haman-gun, and Hamyang-gun.


BNK Kyongnam Bank has planned and will support the 'Sagaksagak Financial Education,' which means 'various financial education that new employees must know.'


Kim Kyungok, Executive Director of BNK Kyongnam Bank, said, "It is meaningful to provide customized financial education for youth in collaboration with Gyeongsangnam-do Province. BNK Kyongnam Bank will continue to develop and actively support various financial education programs for local residents and customers."


Vice Governor Park Myungkyun stated, "This agreement is a practical support measure to help youth achieve economic independence. Through cooperation with BNK Kyongnam Bank, we aim to present an excellent model for youth financial education."


Meanwhile, BNK Kyongnam Bank has supported mentoring financial education, the Turtle Digital Financial Education Academy, and the Heart-Pounding Financial Education for marriage migrant women for local residents this year.
