Saeul Academy Empowers Local Residents
to Lead Community Transformation
Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters (Director So Youseop) held the opening ceremony for the '2025 Saeul Academy,' a capacity-building program for residents of Seosaeng-myeon and Onyang-eup, on the 16th.
Marking its second year, 'Saeul Academy' is a lecture program launched to enhance the capabilities of local residents so they can lead changes in their community, promote a correct understanding of nuclear power generation, and foster a sense of community.
This year, the program has been significantly expanded from 6 sessions last year to 11 sessions, featuring special lectures by experts in various fields such as regional specialized business development, social trends, health, and asset management.
So Youseop, Director of Saeul Nuclear Power Headquarters, said, "With the active participation and communication of residents, Saeul Academy is expected to become a valuable opportunity to brighten the future of the local community," adding, "We will continue to promote various communication activities and high-quality educational programs with the local community."
Saeul Academy will be held once a week every Wednesday until June 26.
