Daejeon Shinsegae Donates 30 Million Won in Hope Scholarships to Local Talent

Support of 1 Million KRW Per Student Provided to Local Middle School Students

The Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 16th that it received a regional talent scholarship fund of 30 million KRW for 30 local middle school students from Daejeon Shinsegae Co., Ltd.

Since 2022, Daejeon Shinsegae has been sponsoring 130 million KRW in regional talent scholarships annually. This year, the scholarship will provide 1 million KRW per student to 30 middle school students who were selected as scholarship recipients in April.

Superintendent Seol Dongho said, "We sincerely thank Daejeon Shinsegae for sponsoring the scholarship so that students in difficult circumstances in Daejeon can have hope and grow into local talents."
