This donation involved participating companies in the renewable energy convergence support project to be implemented this year in Yeongyang-eup, Ilwol-myeon, and Subi-myeon of Yeongyang-gun: Han Yeoul (CEO Cho Seokhyeon, 15 million KRW), Hannam Electric Communication Construction (CEO Lee Seungjae, 10 million KRW), Daejin SNG Energy (CEO Kwon Youngcheol, 5 million KRW), Hyuksin ENC (CEO Kim Suhwa, 10 million KRW), and the consulting firm Hanol (CEO Seo Donghak, 10 million KRW). The entire amount will be used to support wildfire victims through the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea.

Yeongyang-gun suffered 6,080 hectares of forest damage and seven fatalities due to the recent wildfire, and all administrative resources are being mobilized for the swift recovery of the affected areas.

In particular, the county is considering a plan to significantly exempt self-payment for solar facility applications by affected residents during the preparation process for the 2026 convergence support project application, using this donation as an opportunity.

Seo Donghak, CEO of Hanol, stated, "We hope this small donation will help those who lost their homes due to the unprecedented massive wildfire, and we will actively cooperate in any way possible during the project implementation process."

County Governor Oh Dochang said, "I would like to express my deep gratitude to the consortium members for their donation during these difficult times, and we will do our utmost to support wildfire victims in the county."
