On the 16th, Hyundai Steel announced that it held a 'Labor-Management Safety Practice Pledge Activity' at the Hyundai Steel Dangjin Steelworks located in Dangjin-si, Chungnam. Through this, Hyundai Steel labor and management adopted and signed a pledge focusing on ▲compliance with basic safety rules and internalization of a safety practice culture ▲strict adherence to work procedures and safety regulations ▲establishment of a cooperative relationship for safety activities. Additionally, this event will start at the Dangjin Steelworks on the same day and will be sequentially expanded to all domestic business sites by the 24th.

After signing the pledge, labor and management held a safety meeting and conducted joint inspections of major production sites within the steelworks, providing time to broaden consensus on safety. A Hyundai Steel official stated, "We believe this event will serve as an opportunity for a safety culture involving both labor and management to take root company-wide," and added, "If labor and management unite to build a safe workplace, the effect is expected to be doubled."
